@pairofdimes
Maybe it will be part of next release. For now, there is only 6 downloads from SABnzbd thread…

rAf, thanks for you effort to provide a native OSX binary to the community.
As this release is Leopard only, I would like to know if you plan to release also a Tiger compatible binary. Apple TV is based on 10.4.x.

Hi All,
I’ve just managed to build a PPC/Intel 10.4/10.5 version of SABnzbd.
Can somebody test it and tell me if it works ? I’ve already tested on 10.4/10.5 on Intel. Anybody got a Mac PPC ?

I can confirm that the universal build works on my old iBook G4 running 10.4.11. Thanks rAf!

Hey rAf, many thanks from NL. Since you are part of the SABnzbd dev team you might know why the programm isnt opening up anymore in firefox. I’ve configurated the host into localhost (instead of 127.0.0.1) and the port into 80 (instead of 8080). In Firefox I cannot open it up with either http://127.0.0.1:8080/sabnzbd or http://localhost:80/sabnzbd. So now I cant reset the preferences. What can I do? (I have redownloaded the programm for several times…still nothing has changed…)

Try to open your SABnzbd.ini file :
open a Terminal and type
open ~/.sabnzbd/SABnzbd.ini
and make your changes !
Good luck

rAf, thanks for responding that quick! Unfortuately it didnt work out yet. When I type
open ~/.sabnzbd/SABnzbd.ini
Terminal says:
No application knows how to open /Users/Maurits/.sabnzbd/SABnzbd.ini.
And when I delete SABnzbd.ini I come into a folder where I can choose SABnzbd.ini. To open it I choose SABnzbd, and the menu of SABnzbd appears. The only thing is that with that menu I cannot do a thing. It doesnt start up SABnzbd in Firefox. Any other suggestions? I can also try it on my g4

@Maurits
try this :
open -a TextEdit ~/.sabnzbd/SABnzbd.ini
and if you find nothing strange in config, try closing SABnzbd and then :
mv ~/.sabnzbd/SABnzbd.ini ~/.sabnzbd/SABnzbd.bak
and finally restart

Wow, respect! It works again. Now let the seven good years begin. Thanks! Maurits

Is there any way to turn off the logging? My console log gets filled with thousands of sabnzbd log messages.
