Just wondering if there were any plans to add a watch folder to this? That would be neat – automatically detect and send nzb files to the app. Together with the new delete function that would fully automate the process!
@newbie : nzb files are associated with SABnzbdX, when you double-click on a nzb file, it’s uploaded to your SABnzbd and the nzb file is removed from your disk.
Is it desirable to remove the nzb? My SABnzbd is configured so that it keeps all NZBs, so in future it can avoid downloading duplicates? Or did I miss the point somewhere? lol
@b1scu1t : thanks for the howto
@wally : stay tuned…
@Darren Brown : I’ll try to, but for now there is a bug in Growl Notification Framework…
@Mark : nzb that you upload with SABnzbdX are removed from your local disk, but if you’ve configured SABnzbd to keep them, no problem.
Hello, I have a problem with the API key & MobileMe. I’m using MobileMe to synchronize program settings etc. but it also synchronizes the API key to all my Macs. The problem is that it only works on the Mac with the right API key
If I change the API key on 1 mac, it synchronizes that API key to all my other Macs again. Can you take out the API key of the Synchronization process?
1. You can change api key to what you want, just go to config/general in SABnzbd and change it.
2. Honestly, I don’t think it’s not safe if you use login/pass but that’s my opinion…
I just switch machines and did a time machine restore. Then this new machine won’t start SABnzbd
This is the error I’m getting from the console.

Any help or point to the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Aha, SABnzbdX not removing the nzb file after upload was my biggest gripe with the software. Thanks a lot!

Ed – SABnzbd+ already does that. Go to Config -> Folders -> Watched Folder. Set that to your default Firefox or IE download folder.

@Ed @Tom : Maybe it can be usefull if you are using a remote sabnzbd… You should try Dropbox (http://www.getdropbox.com/), I’ll use it for that…

I just posted a write up on using dropbox as a watchfolder in both Windows & Mac OS X in the 3rd party add on’s forum.

Do you plan on implementing simple queue managment. Like dragging jobs up and down the “Queue items” list to set priority or category.

Make the app 64 bit! Thanks for all your work this app is amazing.

I see 2 solutions :
1. configure all your sabnzbd to use the same api key or
2. disable the api key in all your sabnzbd
Does it help ?
September 1st, 2009 at 11:26 pm
1. Can’t change the api key manually in sabnzbd (max osx).
2. This is not a neat solution (and not safe)

It’s not an error, Console logging is disabled with app version of SABnzbd.
All log info is in :
~/.sabnzbd/logs/sabnzbd.log (for 0.4.x) or
~/Library/Application\ Support/SABnzbd/logs/sabnzbd.log (for 0.5.x)
If you need more help, come to forums.sabznbd.org, I’ll try to help you

It works fine!
Love the app even more now
