  6. scruffy Says:

i get the same crash on launch on a 1.66 dual core intel mini running 10.5.8.

  7. rAf Says:

Could you please test this version ?

  8. Tarma Says:

    Thanks a lot!

  9. Isaac Says:

@rAf I was having the exact same crash with 1.2.5 on 10.5.8 on a 1st-gen 8-core Mac Pro and the test version you posted works for me.

  10. Dan Says:

    Hey
Just got onto SABnzbd+ and SABnzbdX looks good, but for me I can’t get it to work. Can download with SABnzbd+ no problems but when I try to open SABnzbdX nothing happens. I know there is no window or dock icon, but I’m not even getting a menu bar icon. What am I doing wrong?

  11. Dan Says:

Edit: the test version in this thread works great…cheers!

  12. Isaac Says:

SABnzbdX fails to hide the dock icon for SABnzbd+ 0.4.12 (it worked fine with 0.4.11).

  13. hans Says:

Version 1.2.52 doesn’t work on my mac: MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Intel 2 Core Duo, Mac OS X 10.5.8 (9L30).

Version 1.2.5 (test version) wich @rAf has posted works fine for me.

Back to version 1.2.3 wich is the lastest working for me. :(

I hope you’ll find the bug cause i’m very interesting in the new features !
Anyway, thanks a lot for your work and i’m pretty sure that i’ll be a happy donator.

  15. JuMacBook Says:

Hum i’ve tested one more time the 1.2.4 version and it works, i only have problems with 1.2.5.

If you need somebody to test, i’m totaly open.

  16. rAf Says:

Could you please test this version ?

  17. Markus Both Says:

Hi, I just tried to install sabnzbdx on two leopard machines and for both nothing happens after starting it.. no dock icon and nothing in the toolbar.
Is it only running under snow leopard ?
It was working fine on my snow leopard imac.
    Thanks for your help, Bodo

  18. rAf Says:

I’ve replaced the dmg by the test dmg provided in comment, please try to download it again and test.

  19. iMe Says:

Hi, just tried 1.25 (even the testversion) however no connection available. Returned to 1.24 and it instantly worked. (SL 10.6.1)

  20. Tim Says:

Doesn’t work for me, either on my iMac or Macbook Pro. I am using SabNZBD+ version 0.4.12 and the latest 1.2.5 from the download page. The error returned (according to the log) is a 502 Server Error. Sabnzbdx doesn’t show the started status for SabNZBD+, although it launches the App just fine.

  21. rAf Says:

@iMe and @Tim : Could you please come to http://forums.sabnzbd.org/index.php?topic=1376.0 ? I’ll try to help you.

  22. Apex Says:

Thanks for sabnzbdx. I am new to SABnzb. I had problems with 1.2.5 connecting to the daemon, first it connected but suddenly it said via growl “not started”, then switched back to “downloading” and it kept this going on and on. Using 1.2.4 all is fine, it connects to the daemon instantly and stays connected showing correct messages (start/stop/idle)

Whatever you did to the daemon-connect-mechanism in 1.2.5, it causes problems.

  23. rAf Says:

@Apex : Could you please test this version ?
    I’ve tweaked some timeout settings.

  24. David Says:

Thanks rAf, I was having the same issues where it wouldnt connecto to a remote host but the last test version you published works great :)

  25. rAf Says:

    @David : Thanks for reporting!

  26. Icing Says:

    Doesn’t work for me either.

I have installed it on my MBP 2009 and my imac 27 i7 and it doesn’t work properly on any of them.
It starts sabnzbd fine, but somehow doesn’t communicate with the app. It keeps saying “start sabnzbd” even though it started fine when I opened sabnzbdX. And queue is always empty.

  27. Graham Says:

1.2.6 works for me. Previous couple of releases did not.

  28. rAf Says:

@Graham : Thanks for testing and reporting !
@Icing : Have you tried the version in comment 23 ?
Have you checked you preferences ?

  29. bigmac Says:

i have mac os 10.5.8 and i cant get this thing working. sab works for me, but im trying to get this addon to work so i can see my downloads in real time.

in the preferences what username and password are they asking for, if anyone has a solution for me , please reply or help me! :)

  30. rAf Says:

You have to fill preferences according to your SABnzbd configuration. If you have set username/password on SABnzbd, you have to set the same ones in SABnzbdX prefs.
And don’t forget to put your API key too.

  31. bigmac Says:

ok, i put the api key in and i dont have any user or pass. still doesnt work :(

  32. rAf Says:

please come to http://forums.sabnzbd.org/index.php?topic=1376.0 to try to find a solution
